Tickets On Sale Now!
Early bird pricing ends February 28.
Participation at the Sponsorship level contributes directly to the success of the Gala.
Join fellow Northside parents and faculty for a fun evening in one of the city’s most beautiful venues. Your ticket includes a dinner buffet and open bar, featuring Crafthouse Cocktails, beer from Lagunitas Brewing and Mark West Wines. Attendance at the Gala also gives you exclusive access to bid on the live auction items.
The Gala is an opportunity for everyone to help ensure that Northside has the critical resources it needs to remain one of the nation’s leading high schools. Donate an item, volunteer, bid on an item or attend the Gala. We can’t do it without your participation!
Why should I buy tickets at the Sponsorship level?
CPS budget challenges make your financial support crucial. Purchasing tickets at the Sponsorhip level means more funds go directly to sustaining the quality of education for our children.
Will there be food?
Yes! We have a delightful, complete dinner buffet menu planned, with lots of options, including vegetarian, from Big Delicious Planet!
Is this a sit down dinner?
No, it’s a buffet. But there will be plenty of places at which one can sit, eat and chat, and take part in the live auction.
Is there entertainment at the Gala?
Absolutely! Guests who purchase tickets at a Sponsorship level will begin their evening with the sweet sounds of music by members of Northside’s very own student jazz band.
As the Gala begins, all guests will enjoy music led by NCP dad Matt Farmer, with Steve Doyle and Lisa DeRosia.
Finally, we’ll move into the live auction with our very popular, returning emcee, Mr. William Nifong!
Tell me about the auction.
Silent Auction will go live, online, the week before the Gala. Silent Auction items will not be present at the Gala, but you can continue bidding until the auction closes on March 18.
At the Gala, you’ll be able to make contributions to the fund-a-need and bid on live auction items, as well as purchase centerpieces designed by Colin Collette.
What about sweets? We need dessert!
We’re planning a Candy Bar!
How do we get there?
The Chicago Cultural Center is easily accessible by bus and el and public parking is located nearby. Click HERE for a map
Cap Off the Night in Style – NCP Gala After Party!
We’re making this an unforgettable night, even after the Gala ends. Immediately following the conclusion of Reach for the Stars, the celebration will continue at Park Grill Chicago, across the street from the Cultural Center in Millennium Park at 11 N. Michigan Ave. Park Grill has reserved a space for NCP Gala guests who want to extend the evening. Please plan to join us not only for the Gala itself, but for the After Party as well.

Build a Social Experience for NCP
A fun aspect of our annual Gala fundraising effort each year is the PARENT PARTIES! Northside families offer to host parties for other Northside parents, families or students. The host pays for the party, guests pay to attend and the revenue generated from tickets is all donated to Northside. These parties raise $500-$2,500 each and are a great opportunity to mingle with other Northside families. Please consider hosting a party like those suggested below or we can help you come up with a new idea. Just reach out to Nancy Liljedahl if you’re interested or want to brainstorm.
If hosting a party is not for you, please consider soliciting an item for the auction – sports tickets, dining certificates, travel & hospitality vouchers, unique experiences or anything you think would be of interest to NCP families. Click HERE for the donation form to print and carry with you to ask your favorite stores, theaters and more if they’ll contribute an auction item. Then drop the auction items off at school or email the committee HERE. Deadline for submissions is March 2.
